Airloader Pumps

The range of Airloader pumps are designed for pumping and handling sludges and slurries normally considered impossible with conventional pumping systems.

Unlike conventional pumps which operate on the vacuum principle, Airloader pumps generate 17 cubic metres/min. (600 cubic feet/min.) of suction airflow, which produces a high velocity airstream in the suction hose, conveying the liquids and solids in individual and slug form into the unit. This feature enables solids and liquids or virtually any material to be "hoovered" up. Because Airloader pumps do not rely on "vacuum displacement" vertical suction heads of up to 25 metres can be achieved.

Unlike air conveying units Airloader pumps also generate a powerful vacuum - up to 0.85 Bar (25" HG) resulting in trouble free suction operation and the ability to tackle thick, viscous materials.
