Receiving a constant feed from the pump of typically two litres per second of -25mm material at up to 50% solids content, the Dewatering Cyclone permits only under-flow solids to discharge onto the conveyor belt.
A fishtail regulator ensures that a maximum build up of dense solids has taken place before release. Overflow liquids are directed back to the classifying tank.
Fed by a Mudskipper© pump or receiving the underflow solids from a ROM conveyor dewatering screen, the classifying tank collects and mixes the raw feed into a manageable consistency for delivery to the Dewatering Cyclone via a centrifugal pump. The tank can be constructed in Pod format for MPV transportation underground.
